When applied to bridge construction, The lightweight design allows for a lighter foundation, again significantly reducing costs.
FRP is insensitive to fungi and moisture and therefore cannot rot or rust. UV rays and temperature changes (plus 50 to – 50) also have no influence on FRP. Our products are also resilient to vandalism, and graffiti is easy to remove. Repair costs, if necessary, are very low.

InfraCore® FRP Bridges Deterioration of traditional materials in salt water continues to be a challenge. Our team uses advanced solutions with innovative designs and materials. Our FRP composites can handle the corrosive effect of salt-water, and are currently being applied in the development of ship hulls, lock gates, and a variety of marine applications.
Mechanical components, hoppers, vessels, manifolds, pump bases, and various material handling components can be produced using composite materials. There are many advantages including high strength to weight, resistance to most chemicals and corrosive conditions, and superior durability in outdoor environments.
Composite designs are available for demanding civil applications including traffic bridges, pedestrian bridges, rail platforms, transit shelters, buildings, wall panels, access mats, barriers, utility vaults, and trench covers, as some examples. Harsh outdoor conditions, and road salt have no effect on composite products making them a superior choice for these civil applications.
Our FRP structure and wall panels are a superior choice for maximum durability and longevity. Crafted using the Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) Infusion process, our panels use materials more efficiently without sacrificing quality. The panels are completely sealed and can withstand wind, rain, moisture, rot, extreme temperatures, and UV exposure — making them virtually indestructible with a 100-year lifespan.
The trailer bodies will be constructed from 2" thick nominal foam panels with 0.15" skin thickness. Panels are structural and self-supporting, having the capacity to support internal components using structrual screws. The exact capacity of fasteners will be confirmed with review of equipment and attachment requirements.
